Student Expectations
As a condensed academic program partnered with a full activities program, time is a precious commodity at Wolfeboro. Delineated expectations for student behavior are provided to not only assure a safe and wholesome community, but to assure the time and efforts of all can be focused in positive and productive ways. It is the intent of the Board of Directors that Wolfeboro provide a structured and purposeful approach to both scholastic work and to the quality of student life.

The School believes that a student functions best in an environment in which all expectations are clearly understood. A Student Handbook of Policies and Procedures detailing required student conduct and the School’s methods of operation is sent to each individual who inquires about the School. A thorough understanding and acceptance of the Handbook’s contents is essential, as the School is proudly firm in all areas of student accountability.

Respect, accountability and responsibility for self, for others, and for the community as a whole are keystones to Wolfeboro's philosophy. The School reserves the right to dismiss any student at any time for violation of rules and regulations or whose behavior has a negative influence on the positive spirit of The Wolfeboro Experience.
Some major expectations delineated in the Handbook are summarized below.

  • Demonstrate levels of citizenship and honesty consistent with school policy.
  • Clean and organize individual living space each day.
  • Share in daily chores and serve as a waiter at designated meals.
