Latin 2

Designed For: Students in rising grades 9, 10;  Preview, review or credit

Content: Sections of Caesar’s Gallic Wars or equivalent material specified by student’s school.

Latin 3

Designed For: Students in rising grades 10, 11, 12; Preview, review or credit

Content: Latin 3 provides a sustained reading experience to students who have a background in Latin 1 and 2. are offered. As with all courses at Wolfeboro, course content can be developed to mirror the skills and rigor in the student’s other school’s curriculum, as appropriate.

Text: Oxford Latin Course, Part III - Balme (Oxford University Press) and selected Roman authors.

Foreign language at Wolfeboro focuses on the four skill areas of writing, reading, listening and speaking. Emphasis is placed on college prep grammar and writing as well as proper pronunciation.

All foreign language courses can be taken for preview or skill-building purposes. Course content is modified accordingly.
