International Students

Wolfeboro International

By design, Wolfeboro offers a vibrant international enrollment.  In a typical year, almost fifty percent of our students have an international address and represent more than twenty countries. Many are already fluent in English.

Wolfeboro is well known for providing precise academic preparation for students considering American or International day and boarding schools. Our ESL curriculum is not diluted with soft, introductory, cultural content.

Our ESL classes provide a sharp focus on college prep writing, reading and verbal skills needed for private school success. Our pen and paper setting is centered on grammar, vocabulary, academic writing and reading.

The Wolfeboro Difference

Students are surrounded by English-speakers. Perhaps most importantly, our policy of limited cell phone use means that students spend essentially all their time in face-to-face interaction in class, family style meals in the Jousson Dining Hall, playing or relaxing with other students on campus or during trips to an amusement or water park.

Stay in Touch - With parental permission, students have access to their cell phones for at least 30 minutes each day.
