Climbing

Location: Haines Climbing Barn, Brewster Academy
Fee: $135 per week

Open to students ages 11–17, Wolfeboro’s climbing program offers a dynamic mix of indoor and outdoor experiences through Brewster Summer Ascents. Participants climb in Brewster Academy’s Haines Climbing Barn on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and head outdoors on Fridays for guided climbs at nearby natural sites.

The Haines Climbing Barn is a local landmark—one of the first indoor climbing facilities in northern New England. It features eight belay stations for top-rope and lead climbing, a dedicated bouldering area, and an upstairs instructional space. Routes and boulder problems are designed for all levels, allowing both beginners and experienced climbers to develop skill, confidence, and technique.

This program is offered as an afternoon activity and is supervised by certified instructors from Brewster Summer Ascents.
